You Capture - Fresh

Aaaaah, spring. What's not fresh about spring? It's such a nice change from the cold winter - you can't help but feel hopeful and happy. There were so many things to capture this week - all the newly budded trees, the flowers springing up overnight, the birds out singing, the sun. It's a fantastic time of year.

fresh flowers

nothing says fresh like a ripe red juicy tomato

...or fresh fruit (complete with dirty nails from playing outside all day :)

and via iPhone, new buds on an old tree.

Go check out what everyone else captured this week at Beth's!

The first shot is stunning. I'm really loving the purple flowers, though. What are they?

Love the strawberry pic. Makes me long for summer and BBQ's & being outside with my kids.

Thanks everyone!

I'm not sure what the purple flower is actually. Just thought it was pretty. :)

Tara, I only have a point and shoot, so whatever lens comes on my Sony H-20...

Laura, that's a grape hyacinth. We had bunches of them in the yard at Grandma Jones'. They are tiny and so pretty.

Also thanks for the spring tree picture. You know how I love your trees.
